Adbrite By Phillip Kaplan
Making money in the Internet marketing industry is sometimes difficult, despite having a highly profitable website. This is because, even with a good site, there can be too many options. For those who aren’t sure of how to turn their sites into money-making assets, they can consider using Adbrite, which is a platform by which you can allow advertisers to place their banners on your website. And, the fact that it is being leveraged by hundreds of fellow webmasters proves that it is highly reliable and trustworthy. Anyway, we’ll dig deep into what Adbrite is about and how it can be of help to you:
What is Adbrite?
Adbrite is a platform that allows your website to get listed among targeted publishers who are looking to place profitable ads on successful sites. In simple terms, if your site is about “hair loss” and you want to publishers to place an ad for a “hair loss product,” then you can consider using Adbrite. In return, the creator of the system takes small percentage between the advertisers and website owners.
How Does It Work?
Adbrite basically provides 3 types of ads to publishers, and they are:
- Full Page (Interstitial) Ads
- Inline Ads
- Banner & Text Ads.
When an advertiser goes through the site, he is ideally given an option to place an advertisement in the above three formats. Let’s go through them briefly –
1. Full Page (Interstitial) Ads
Interstitial ads are probably the least common ones among the three. It requires the advertiser’s ad is displayed to visitors in between the pages. You can compare this to a television ad where the content is played in the middle of the shows.
2. Inline Ads
Inline Ads, according to me, are most innovative. Some words in the content are underlined twice and hyperlinked, and when the visitors hover their mouse over that word, they get to see the ad.
3. Banner and Text Ads
This is perhaps most widely used. Small sections are allocated to be displayed on the website in the form of banner ads. The ads are usually graphical oriented images, texts or sometimes the company logo, etc., Also, running these campaigns is pretty simple and are highly reliable.
Adbrite Scam?
Adbrite is probably being used by a lot of webmasters and website owners. And, many of them are making some real money as well. Now, when people are claiming that it is helpful, then there is no question of it being a scam. If you have a website with good amount of traffic, you can use Adbrite to monetize the traffic.
Verdict: Not a Scam!
