As of 2010, CPA, (known as cost-per-action, or cost-per aqusition), has become to be known as an incredibly profitable business model for those looking to make money online.
One of the key attractions of CPA is the fact that usually, the prospect doesn’t have to buy anything before you (the CPA affiliate) gets paid. This is a sharp contrast to traditional affiliate marketing, whereby the prospect has to buy the product before you make a profit.
Because of this, conversions with CPA can be much higher than traditional affiliate marketing. Granted, although the amount you earn for each CPA commission may not be as high as what you might earn with affiliate marketing, the commissions do add up.
And, when you get a high ROI with CPA (remember, the conversions with CPA can be high), you can invest more and more into your CPA campaigns, thus increasing your income.
This is what Commission Payload teaches you to do.
Commission Payload is a high-ticket CPA learning program by Saj P and Alex Goad. It launched on December 9th, 2009. It is comprised of several full-length, detailed instructional videos. A number of these featured Phil Mansour of Zero Friction marketing.
The Commission Payload Members’ area is divided into 6 sections:
- CPA Workbooks
- Video Training
- Expert Training
- Advanced Tracking and Spying
- CPA Networks
- Bonus Offers
For a person completely new to CPA, the CPA Workbooks and the first 7 videos of the Video Training Section will be very beneficial.
The CPA Workbooks section features 7.pdf documents that lay the conceptual foundation for understanding the basics of CPA. The first 7 videos of the Video Training Section (which have matching titles that correspond to the titles of the 7.pdf documents), are presented by Alex Goad.
The fist video is titled Introduction To Commission Payload and the World of CPA. In this 50 minute video, Alex introduces the viewer to some key concepts of CPA marketing.
The second video is titled Different Types of Offers. In this video, Alex introduces you to the various types of offers you’ll find in a CPA network.
Next is The Power of Low End Offers. A lot of people in the CPA world are under the impression that only “high-end” offers are worth it. That’s not necessarily true, and in this 3rd quickstart video, Alex talks about the commitment factor and why low end offers are viable.
Getting Accepted is In a 46-minute video where Alex shows some obvious ways to get accepted into the CPA networks. Though these may appear obvious when they’re explained, a lot of potential CPA affiliates miss these…and don’t get accepted. The CPA networks are swamped with affiliates…you’ve got to stand out to get accepted, and that’s what this video is about.
The fifth of the first seven videos is Market Research. This video shows the viewer how to avoid a very time-wasting mistake a lot of marketers make. Early in this video, the affiliate will learn the answer to the following question, “What’s most important, other than the offer…?”
In Offer Breakdown and Credibility, the viewer is shown how to evaluate whether an offer is going to work well.
The seventh video is Promotion Ninja Tactics. Once the research has been done and the offer has been evaluated, promotion follows.
Aside from these first 7 videos (and matching documents), there are many, many more videos that span nearly the entire gamut of CPA. In fact, one complaint of some customers was that they didn’t know where to start (or, where to go after the first 7 videos). That was largely because once you had a firm, basic understanding of CPA, you were free to explore all of the videos, learn as much as you could, and make an informed decision as to which course of action was best for you.
