Epic Traffic Systems' Creators: Keith Baxter, Jon Shugart and Joey Smith
Epic Traffic Systems is a 3-module website promotion and traffic generation solution that will release on June 15th, 2010. The pre-launch started around June 4th, and on June 7th, Keith Baxter and his 2 launch partners, Joe Shugart and Joey Smith, began releasing a series of excellent free content that really helps business people get traffic to their businesses.
The first video of the series, titled “Social Traffic Video,” was released on Monday, June 7th, and featured Joey Smith, who is the Social Media expert of the team.
The video starts out with a welcome from the three Epic Traffic Systems creators, as pictured above. They basically give an overview of what will be covered during the week, and give some welcoming comments. If you want to increase site traffic, you can’t miss out on what they’ve got in store for you.
“Our goal is to make this an epic experience for you this week,” John says. They’ll do this by offering free content from the 3 components of the Epic Traffic Systems program: the organic (SEO) component, the paid component, and the social media component.
The scene then changes to a shooting they had done prior, where the 3 creators were talking about things pertaining to the upcoming launch.
“People confuse social media with social marketing,” Joey Smith says. While talking about social marketing, he goes on to say, that “social media is a built-in prospect list…for free! That’s what makes it so cool.”
At one point, Joey explains the obviousness of social marketing: “Like, the prospects are there…sitting there…tweeting about…posting statuses and communicating their problems. And they’re waiting for somebody to help them fix their problem.”
“Can you make money with Facebook, Twitter, and social media…?”
That’s a question people have asked Joey many times. The resounding answer is yes. In fact, it was revealed that a couple of Joey’s students had used his training set up a company that relayed his training, and sold that company less than a year later…for a hefty sum of money.
But you don’t have to set up a company and sell it to make money from social media. In the training portion of the Social Traffic Video, Joey states that he has done tests that are on the scale of what anyone can do. From scratch, he has found that social media gave him:
- The fastest market research he was able to acquire
- The fastest traffic
- The fastest opt-ins he had seen, and
- The fastest sale
…All this from social media.
Epic Traffic Systems Twitter Traffic/Cash Method
The Twitter Traffic Cash Method was the core subject of this video, and it’s contents are explained in the title: It was a way that anyone can find an offer, find the niche on Twitter, get Twitter traffic to that offer, and make a sale. And, they could do that right now.
This involved the use of Twitter’s real-time search, finding prospects, and getting them to the offer.
There were 5 steps to this process:
- Finding or starting a niche offer. (If you already have an offer that you know sells, then you won’t need to find a new one.)
- Finding Twitter conversations around problems within the niche that’s appropriate to your offer. (You can do this by using the creative search queries that Joey gives examples of.)
- Using Bit.ly to shorten your link and track traffic and conversion.
- Tweeting the solution (your offer) from your niche Twitter account, with the attitude and desire to help people in your niche.
- Rinse and repeat.
One thing to keep in mind is that this method doesn’t necessarily have to do with building a list or building a following. It’s about getting traffic now, partly because of the real-time search feature that Twitter offers.
