Facebook Ad Power from Ryan Deiss

Facebook Ad Power from Ryan Deiss

The straight-up message of Facebook Ad Power, which is one of Ryan Deiss‘ many product offerings, is this: Facebook advertising’s where it’s at.

Targeted traffic is what all Internet businesses need to succeed.  There are many, many ways of getting traffic to your site, but the overall consensus among some marketers is that it’s getting very difficult to get good, quality traffic to your site.

And, the experience of a lot of Adwords marketers confirms this.

If you’ve been using Google Adwords (Google’s pay-per-click advertising solution) for any length of time, you’ve probably experienced ever-rising costs-per-clicks, crowding competition, increasingly stiff rules, and ultimately, a lower return on your investment with the Adwords and other traditional pay-per-click solutions.

This can be very daunting and frustrating, especially if you consider that your business needs a consistent flow of targeted visitors that convert (make purchases or complete some goal) at a healthy rate.

Ryan Deiss struggled with this very same problem that many Adwords marketers were facing.  With the exception of Gmail advertising, Ryan Deiss had been growing increasingly frustrated at how Google was treating it’s Adwords clients.  It was the Adwords advertisers who had really helped make Google as financially successful as it is.  It’s the “little guy” Adwords advertiser who provides a source of income for Google.  It’s too bad a lot of Adwords advertisers were being treated this way.  In fact, it’s been said that recently, over 15,000 Adwords accounts were banned…for no apparent reason.

Luckily, Ryan Deiss is a very innovative and forward-thinking Internet marketer.  For months, he had experimented with something that’s new for a lot of Internet marketers, and will be a breath of fresh air for traditional pay-per-click marketers: Facebook advertising.

Ryan’s success with Facebook advertising eventually led to the subject of this review: Facebook Ad Power.  But before reviewing Ryan’s product, let’s take a look at some of the benefits of Facebook advertising:

The 10 Benefits of Facebook Advertising

1.  Facebook has about 39 billion impressions each month, which is said to be about 5 times the size of Google’s.

2.  Currently, there’s only a small fraction of the number of advertisers on Facebook as there are struggling in the crowded Adwords space.  Of course, this means less competion. Less competition means…

3.  An average lower cost-per-click

4.  Facebook ads can be a lot more targeted.  This is because you can narrow things down to a combination of the age, sex, interests, hobbies, and location(s) of your ideal visitor.  (If you have a Facebook account, it’s easy to see how this is possible: Facebook can just match the ads to the information it has about you as a person.)

5.  Ryan’s experience is that Facebook ads convert better than Adwords ads

6.  Facebook is friendly to it’s advertisers.  Even affiliate marketers can currently use direct-linking.

7.  Facebook advertising works for most markets.  (This is easy to understand, as Facebook is worldwide and is, according to Alexa, one of the top 10 most-trafficed sites in the world.)

8.  Easier to use than Google Adwords (though you still have to follow Facebook’s rules).

9.  You can get traffic to your site, or offer, within a few hours.

10.  Facebook advertising is very reliable, unlike SEO, which is subject to the constant changes in web positions and the whims of frequent algorithm changes that the search engines often do.

These (and more) are benefits that Ryan and his business associates experienced as a result of Facebook advertising done properly.  We say “done properly,” because at first, when Ryan started experimenting with Facebook advertising, he made a lot of mistakes and even had 2 Facebook advertising accounts banned (he was able to get one back).  It’s important to know that Facebook will do it’s best to protect it’s users as much as possible, so even though the concept of Facebook advertising is more welcoming than Google Adwords, you still have to play by Facebook’s rules.

Ryan Deiss has invested over 6 months and thousands of dollars learning the rules of Facebook advertising, and has even “blueprinted” the entire process…

Facebook Ad Power is one of the first (and currently one of the only) comprehensive courses on how to do Facebook advertising.  The main component of the course is an 83-minute presentation that introduces you to the major aspects of Facebook advertising.

Here are some of the topics that are covered in this training:

  • Why now is a great time to get into Facebook adverising
  • How to laser target your ads to your ideal prospect
  • What you need to know to create great, compelling ads that still fit Facebook’s terms of service
  • Creating landing pages that are great, and still follow Facebook’s rules
  • Bidding and budgeting strategies for Facebook adverising
  • Updates
  • …and advanced strategies

Keep in mind that Ryan Diess, at the introduction of the training, say that what he shows you is what is working now.  Of course, things will change and Facebook’s adverising program will change.  Ryan mentions that he’ll keep you up-to-date on these changes.

For the convenience of those who have slower connections, the main presentation is broken down into 3 smaller-sized videos.

Another thing that’s great about the content delivery of this course is that you can download it as an audio (.mp3 format), and as a handout (.pdf).

If you combine the benefits of Facebook advertising with what you’ll learn in this 83-minute, 31-page training program, we think you’ll find that Facebook Ad Power is a great course for those who really want to jump into Facebook adverising.
