PortalFeeder’s Latest Free Promotion & Marketing Tools

By Bryan | Dec 11, 2007

It just so happened the other day I was performing a seemingly never-ending daily ritual of aimlessly bouncing around the net for about an hour.  I guess it’s not all that aimless because a lot of times I come back ‘home’ with some nice little finds.  It always makes you feel like you’re being a bit more productive than you are when you manage to do that.

So I’m not sure how I came about DealDotCom.com but I did.  Actually I think I may have been targeting them for one of my "sneaky" little techniques (oops).  Either way, I’ve become an avid fan in a matter of 48 hours.  The reason being, in that span of 48 hours they’ve given me two of the most useful free pieces of software I’ve run across in a long time.

#1 - Comment Kahuna v2 [download free]

This is a pretty simple piece of software but powerful in it’s own right.   What it does is allow you to find blog posts from around the net that are relevant to the keyword phrase you use.  So for instance you search for "small business success" and it spits out a list of high traffic blogs that have posted recently targeting those keywords.

So what you do is use the auto-fill feature (after you create a profile) to automatically fill comment fields (name, email, website, etc..) and then post a meaningful comment.  The awesome thing about it is that Comment Kahuna allows you to distinguish between blogs with the "follow" and "nofollow" attributes.  Basically, what this means is you can get high quality, one-way backlinks to your site that Google will follow in a second.  It doesn’t get any easier than this, people.

Note: This tool is meant for white hat use only.  Honestly, it’s not automated enough to be useful for black hat seo techniques so don’t even try.  You have to manually enter each comment, and it’s suggested you actually read the post and make a useful comment.  Of course even the developers show you a couple of shortcuts, so carry on as you please.

#2 - AdsenseFinder Software [download free]

I haven’t actually had time sit down and run through this one but I’ve watched the demo video on their site and it looks to be pretty impressive.  In fact, it’s just as good as a tool called "Adwords Micro-Nicher" that comes with a $77 a month Google Assassin membership.  Except, this tool is 100% free.

What you use this tool for is to find high traffic sites that are running Google Adsense.  You then target these sites by adding them to your "site targeting" campaigns via Google Adwords.  If you’re not "in the know" about site-targeting with Adwords you better find out quick because this is honestly Adwords last frontier.  People are grabbing up niches like it’s 2003 again.

Adwords 180 is a complete guide on this technique that anyone using Adwords should own and have read 3-4 times by now.

It’s definitely worth the five minutes it will take to go grab up these free tools.  They say they’ll be providing free updates as well if you simply opt-in and download your software now.  Honestly, I could see some jerk selling both of these pieces of software in the $47-$77 range.  That’s not to they’re not worth that much, because I believe they certainly are.  The guys from DealDotCom must be in the Christmas spirit?

I’ve got a sneakin’ suspicion that the guys from PortalFeeder are not without motive, though.  But don’t worry, I’m on the case… I’m not real familiar with the program, but all signs indicate that they’re opening their doors again soon.  The membership there is fairly exclusive and I’ve only heard good things.

Seems the buzz is already growing so I’m sure I’ll hear more in the coming days.  Until then…

I just got an email from portalfeeder promoting their program after I opted-in to download the software. The funny thing was in the email it said, “it’s not like me to send out a promotion right after you opted in just days ago (weeks ago).” Haha, yea I’m sure.

I didn’t even get my license keys after downloading, so for me this is turning out to be a huge waste of time. Thanks for the heads up though, If only, If only. Mike

    Mike,

I’m not sure but I think I saw something in the email about their emails being blocked. Maybe you could try contacting their support. Wish I had the address for you but I don’t. You should be able to find it on-site.

I got the same promo email. I’m not familiar with the programs so I can’t say anything to it’s quality. Could be good.
