And he’s the one vacationing in Guam?
Let’s get this out of the way.. I’m no millionaire by any stretch of the imagination. I make a nice income online, probably a bit above average, but yet not a millionaire (yet!).
It’s kind of disheartening, but yet puts a weird sense of exhilaration into you when you realize that the guy sitting next you in Perry Marshall’s office, the millionaire, with his bustling business, knows about less than 1/2 of what you do about marketing. That guy, come on, you say… Yes, that guy.
What this four-man intensive is where each participant gets 1/2 a day to show every aspect of their business, and get constructive advice from the group and Perry himself on how to make it better.. So you basically bare all and hope for your fellow entrepreneurs to be brutally honest about what you’re doing wrong.
It was over the course of those two days that I realized.. I should be a millionaire by now. That guy sitting over there, directly across from me, has a seven figure bank account and knows about half of what I do about running HIS business.
Now specifically, these two fellows dealt a lot with Google Adwords. One guy spent almost $30K a month on Adwords, and the other was around $6k - $8k. Now that’s some serious adspend.
You would be hard-pressed to believe that haven’t got Adwords almost down to a "T", right?
Now, not to bash on them, because they were good guys, but each of them had major problems within their campaigns that I could spot and point out a solution to fix it with little effort.
The knowledge sort of came as second nature to me. Like, what, that guy has one ad-group and hundreds of keywords? No wonder he’s spending $30k a month, now.
But the fact is, that same guy is a millionaire. Simple as that. And then from there you start to wonder how much of your knowledge you truly take for granted. Now I’m willing to bet there are several of you, like me, who just have knowledge about online marketing oozing from your eye sockets. Then we see first hand, or hear something like this and wonder - Why am I not a millionaire? That guy is.
The same guy that couldn’t dynamically insert keywords onto his landing page? Now, don’t feel bad if you have no idea what I’m talking about. The fact is if you are that 5% I talked about earlier, you’ll know soon enough. I absolutely do not mean to point out things like this in a disparaging manner, rather to make a simple point.
I’m thinking that maybe you, yes you, are in the same situation as I am, and just haven’t discovered it yet. The way I discovered it was through a costly four-man intensive at Perry Marshall’s house. Maybe the way you’ve discovered it is through me.
Either way, just know, you have all the knowledge to be a millionaire within you. Even if you had just half of your knowledge, you probably have enough to be a millionaire. Is that sinking in a bit?
The main thing to do is never take what you know for granted, because a majority of the people out there making big bucks don’t know half of what you do right now. Instead, use it. All you have to do is find your acre of land to "settle" on in this Wildest of Wests. Do what you know is effective and do it well. Let this be an eye-opener to you, in the regard that the status of millionaire isn’t exclusively reserved
for anyone.
