Brad Callen’s SEO LinkVine: What a launch process it’s been.
In this article, we’re going to focus on the timeline leading up to the launch of SEO Link Vine.
But before we do that, we just want to give you a little bit of background information on this search engine optimization, link building solution from well-known internet marketer, Brad Callen.
SEO Link Vine is a network of web sites. That’s the simplest way of defining it. The sites that are connected to this network are owned by many different webmasters, and cover a range of subjects, markets, and niches.
SEO Link Vine allows webmasters to add their sites to the network for free. As long as a site is not on a banned subject, such as adult or bad sites, the webmaster is welcome to add it to the network.
Why add a site to the network? Because webmasters need fresh content, and by having your sites in the network, not only will you get fresh content, that content will also be somewhat unique.
Where this content comes from is on the other side of SEO Link Vine: the marketers and business owners who want to drive free traffic to their websites. The most established way to drive free traffic to your site is through great search engine optimization, or SEO. (This is obviously the implication of the title, SEO Link Vine).
One way to achieve great SEO, and therefore, higher rankings and more free visitors, is to get a lot of one-way backlinks to your site. That’s what the link network (or, the link vine, if you want to play on the title) is there for: for you to submit your articles, spin them, and distribute your articles to the network. Each article can be spun into several unique and semi-unique versions. When you ask for it to be distributed, a unique version is sent to a number of sites in the system. Each site can have up to 3 links, per article, pointing to pages on your site. These incoming links help your SEO.
SEO Link Vine started out as a desire of Brad to have his own link network. He eventually succeeded, and his network allowed him to get a #1 Google search engine results page position for an extremely competitive keyword. He reports that, within 3 months’ time, he was able to get 29,000 backlinks to his site, and 6, 500 daily visitors.
Those are great search engine results that not many other marketers can claim to have achieved.
Let’s now take a look at the timeline leading up to the launch of SEO Link Vine:
March 31st, 2010: Brad sent out an e-mail to his list. He basically said that he was inviting 100 marketers into the system. 100 was the limit. He reached that limit in a few days, and that was it. For a while.
April 1st, 2010: Brad sent out an incentivised offer to his list. He would give $1.00 away for each site added to the network. And, not only that, he’d give you $1.00 for each site that each of your referrals added to the network.
This lasted for about 7 days.
April 13th, 2010: Brad Callen releases 3 SEO Link Vine training videos. This series of videos was essentially pitch-free, and was very educational. We even wrote an article on this series.
April 19th, 2010: A contest begins. The winner would receive lifetime membership to SEO Link Vine. The rules were simple: on the launch blog, the contestant would enter a comment where they detailed a strategy that illustrated how they would would use SEO Link Vine to increase the rankings (and therefore, traffic) of their sites. On April 23rd, the contest winners were announced. Congratulations to all who entered.
The great thing about entering the contest was that, for those who seriously took the time to type in a well-thought-out strategy, just the very fact that they typed or wrote it down puts them miles ahead of most other people who don’t write down their goals. Plus, the launch blog’s contest post stands as a great treasure trove of marketing plans and site promotion campaigns.
So, that’s where things stand now. SEO Link Vine launches at 12 noon, Eastern time, on April 27th, 2010. The first 25 people who get in also get a very valuable bonus from Brad, worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
