StomperNet
If you asked most seasoned Internet marketers what is the one place that has it all—that’s like a university for Internet marketers—a lot would say StomperNet, which was a collaborative effort between Andy Jenkins, Brad Fallon, and a host of other contributors. In short, StomperNet can be thought of as a place where students (those who want to build a successful online business) can attend several classes (in the form of videos) across every topic related to online marketing and e-commerce. The students who passed would be the ones who learned how to establish an online business.
From our research, StomperNet first opened in October 2006. Even at the $10,000 a year membership fee ($800 a month), there were hundreds—if not thousands—of members. (And believe it or not, many of them will happily tell you that the price was well worth it.)
The title “Stomping The Search Engines” is almost synonymous with StomperNet. Stomping The Search Engines was a DVD-ROM disk with several video segments on it. It was a very good, comprehensive introduction to search engine optimization and SEO tactics. This single DVD (there’s now a 2.0 version) was an instrumental in delivering great content to Stomper’s members, and helped skyrocket StomperNet to the stardum levels it’s enjoyed over the years.
One thing that really enhanced StomperNet’s image was it’s list of faculty members, such as Dan Thies and Leslie Rohde. Unlike most Internet marketing training products or programs, there weren’t just one or two guys in their basement behind this program—Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins were the CEOs, and they put together a faculty of the best experts across all the major fields of e-commerce together in one place. This truly made StomperNet appear to be an esteemed learning institution.
Over the years, the content in the membership has grown to over 1400 videos, dozens and dozens of documents, masterminds, and a forum.
Here are just 2 of the tools in StomperNet:
Market Samurai
Market Samurai
What I like about StomperNet is that they went to Noble Samurai (the ones behind Market Samurai), and asked them if they could use Market Samurai as one of their in-house products. That says a lot about Market Samurai, and about Stomper’s willingness to go to the best developers online and negotiate a deal.
Market Samurai is a product that sells on it’s own for about $149 dollars.
Traffic Geyser
Traffic Geyser
Like Market Samurai, Traffic Geyser sells on it’s own, outside of StomperNet. It’s said to be the best video submission tool on the Internet.
In a nutshell, it helps you to do keyword research, create compelling web videos, and distribute them to several video sites. It then allows you to submit the audio from these videos to podcast directories. It also allows you to do a lot of other things.
A StomperNet membership also entitles you to many other tools that we have not mentioned here. We also know that at some point, StomperNet also offered a physical magazine that was delivered to you every month.
Currently, a membership in StomperNet runs for $197/month. Some have said that this is too high of a price, but considering that others gladly paid $800/month for a more amateur version of StomperNet, we feel that for one who’s actually serious, StomperNet offers great value. The free content you can get from StomperNet is also praiseworthy.
