Alex Goad
Now, Alex is a well-known Internet marketer who has had enough repeated success that he’s been able to co-author 2 Clickbank best sellers with his good friend Saj Purkayastha (known as Saj P.). He’s known for Four Tier Annihilation Method, Affiliate Payload, Players With Money, Project Blackmask, Google Payload, Google Conquest, and Commission Payload.
Alex has also spoken in Belgium and at Mark Anastasi’s Traffic Generation Summit in London.
Alex is fluent in English and French, and lives in Montreal, Canada, where he runs an office with a handful of staff.
Focal Point
With Google Conquest, Alex’s methods focused on locationg commerically-oriented niches (sub-markets) with little competition, establishing well-optimized sites in those niches, and getting free traffic to those sites.
Alex’s Products
Project Blackmask
Project Blackmask
Project Blackmask is one of Alex’s first products. It was based on little-known techniques that successful affiliates and website owners were using to make well above-average earnings due to a Google loophole. It was released in 2007. It’s interesting to note that it features an unnamed “Insider” who used to work for a popular search engine company in California.
Google Payload
Google Payload
Google Payload, in short, was based on a “buy low, sell high” philosophy, though you didn’t have to do any selling of your own products. An example of this “buy low, sell high” concept (also called arbitrage), was buying highly targeted clicks from a second-tier pay-per-click engine, and then directing that traffic to an offer for which you got paid higher commission than the clicks costed you. You could repeat this process over and over again, as long as you continued to get a positive ROI.
Four-Tier Annihilation
Four Tier Annihilation
Four Tier Annihilation was about selling physical products on eBay. An interesting thing about Four Tier Annihilation was that it had a tiered way of looking at eBay products, based on how much you could earn per month. With the bottom tier, you could earn $100 a month, $1000 a month at the second tier, $10,000 a month at the third, and tier four was something else altogether. This tiered system is a good, organizational way of cataloging the products you sold on eBay.
Four Tier Annihilation also shows you how to research and source products to sell on eBay.
Google Conquest
Google Conquest
If you want to build a profitable web business without having to spend money on expensive pay-per-click campaigns…and without having to put all your eggs in one basket (one site), then Google Conquest is something to take a look at. It’s definitely one of Alex’s best products and one that he’s best known for.
The basic philosophy of Google Conquest is that there are thousands upon thousands of commerically-oriented niches (sub-markets) out there. The consumers within these niches come to the Internet to buy. Because these niches are small, there aren’t a lot of websites catered to these niches. That’s where you come in. You can, using what you learn in Google Conquest, build several sites catered to these niches.
Google Conquest is a full collection of training videos, .pdfs, a forum, a linking network, and a web-based site-building software that helps you create well-optimized niche sites that rank well in the search engines. Therefore, your sites will attract free, targeted money-in-hand visitors. There are several ways to monetize (make money from) this traffic, even if you don’t have anything of your own to sell.
Commission Payload
Commission Payload is a result of the Dream Team: Alex Goad teaming up with Saj Purkayastha to bring out a great cost-per-aquisition training program. Commission Payload is a video-based course that teaches you all about CPA—from newbie basics (“What Is CPA?”) to advanced strategies and feature webinars from special guests.
Commission Payload has 7 basic videos and workbooks for you to start from. Everyone should start with those. After that, there are many many videos for you to choose from.
Affiliate Payload
Affiliate Payload
Like Commission Payload, Affiliate Payload is also about CPA, and also a result of Alex and Saj teaming up together. It explores a wide range of CPA-related subjects, such as CPA’s relation to PPC, tracking, and split-testing.
Players with Money
Players With Money
Players With Money was Alex’s first membership-based site. The title Players With Money comes from Gary Halbert, who essentially said that to be a winner in life, it’s to your advantage to be a player with money. PWM had a forum and informational content on key aspects of running an online business. It had training modules on affiliate marketing, product creation, and traffic generation.
G Traffic Loophole
G Traffic Loophole is an e-book for Adwords advertisers. Basically, Alex discovered an obvious secret that allowed him to get clicks for as low as 1 cent. This loophole, which not a lot of advertisers know about, really opens the opportunity to lower costs.
The method talked about here is not a hack or a trick that Google would not approve of. In fact, it’s something that they offer, but don’t emphasize a lot. (No, it’s not just the content network.)
Rank Builder is Alex’s latest product, due for release on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010. It’s a Windows-based software that works toward getting you one of the most important ingredients your site needs for success: free, targeted traffic.
One source of targeted, free traffic is search engine optimization. One factor that determines good search engine optimization is links: how many links your site gets from other sites. Link-building is a necessary part of getting links, but link-building is very time-consuming.
Rank builder was designed to automate a lot of the mundane link-building tasks you’d have to otherwise do manually. See our Rank Builder review for more information.
Negative Reports on Alex Goad’s Products
For the most part, Alex’s methods and techniques are valid and timely. However, we did find one negative report about Alex’s Google Payload. In Google Payload, one of Alex’s arbtitrage techniques involved buying cheap clicks from second-teir search engines (such as GoClick), and sending that traffic to another place, such as SearchAnyway.
The problem was that a lot of people were doing this, and SearchAnyway sent out a notice to their affiliates, telling them to cease sending traffic from GoClick.
However, there are many, many more techniques that Alex teaches that are as applicable today as they’ve ever been.
