Rank Builder is a desktop-based, time-saving Windows software that helps you get more traffic through search engine optimization. Be sure to read this full review to learn how Rank Builder works to build your rankings and get hundreds, and even thousands, of links to your site.
Rank Builder is the latest rank-building solution from the well-established Internet marketer, Alex Goad. If you want to finally get enough free traffic to your site so that you can make money and save time, I think that what Rank Builder has to offer will be of interest to you.
In this Rank Builder review, we’ll tell you the 2 basic components that every successful online business has, and how Rank Builder works to ensure that you get what you need to have a successful site.
Rank Builder might be the final answer for those who want to get the last missing ingredient that’s required for online success: targeted traffic. And…not just any targeted traffic, but free traffic consisting of targeted visitors that are looking for what you have to offer.
Depending on your level of experience, you might have realized one thing: getting sufficient free traffic to your site can be a time-consuming, laborious process. Well, it doesn’t have to be that way any more, because in this Rank Builder review, we’re going to describe how Rank Builder works to save you a tremendous amount of time, giving you a shortcut to the success you want.
So, you might be wondering, “What is Rank Builder?”
Before I answer that question, I want to give you some background information so that you understand the significance of what Rank Builder has to offer to you. By taking time to understand the underlying information we’ll reveal here, you’ll really be able to see how Rank Builder can give your business a distinct advantage.
We begin this review by mentioning something that you’ll need for any online business to succeed: targeted traffic—and, preferably, free traffic.
And, when is the best time to get this free, targeted traffic?
…Right when the visitor goes to Google or any major search engine, and types in a query that corresponds to what your site has to offer.
When they do this, they’ll visit one of the sites that appears on the first search results page. There may be potentially thousands of sites that correspond to what the user typed in, but it’s the 10 sites that appear on the first page that get virtually all of the traffic. (And even further than that, it’s the sites that are ranked higher on the first page that attract more traffic than those further below on the same page.)
This means that those sites that appear on the first search results page attract that visitor. For free. Free prospects, free leads, and free sales. Over and over again, the sites that appear on the first page for a given search term continue to get free, targeted traffic.
Which leads us to our next question: How do we make sure that your site shows up (ranks) on the first search results page?
The answer to that question is what search engine optimization is all about: doing everything we can to make sure your site has the best possible chance of appearing on the first results page (“first page of Google”) for the query (keyword phrase) that your ideal prospect will type into the search engine.
Now, search engine optimization is a field with enough knowledge and information to fill up entire textbooks (and yes, entire books have been written on this subject alone).
However, the great thing is that you don’t have to read a lot of books (or even a single book) to reap the benefits of having a site that ranks well in Google.
You see, although no one outside of Google knows exactly how Google determines why a site shows up on the first search engine results page (as opposed to…say…page 5 where very few visitors will ever find it), we do know a number of factors that definitely indicate why sites rank on the first page.
From knowing these factors, and putting them to use for your site, you too can rank high on the first page, get free traffic, make sales, and make money. It’s that simple.
You know what one of these factors is? Links.
Generally speaking, if a site gets a lot of links from other sites, it tends to rank well. A basic formula that you can keep in mind is: Links = Traffic = Money.
Now, there are a couple of obstacles that come with this realization:
1. The idea that your site will need links to rank well is not really new. It’s been known for years, which means that if you have competitors who also want to make sure their sites rank well, they know this, too. In fact, they may already have more links to their sites than you do. (If this is the case, not all is lost, because depending on the market you’re in, and the search engine competition of that market, Rank Builder might be able to help you a lot.)
2. Getting an adequate number of links to your site is usually a very, very time-consuming and costly process. Depending on your experience level, you know this to be painfully true. In fact, thousands of website owners have given up on their sites that they had so much hope in, because getting an adequate number of links to their site was proving to be too time-consuming.
(One reason why getting links to your site is so time-consuming is that most people are misled into thinking that it all has to be done manually. Trying to get hundreds of links to your site manually is almost futile, because you’ll probably exhaust yourself before your site attains enough links to rank well. As you’ll soon find out, Rank Builder serves to build links automatically.)
How Rank Builder Works To Build Your Site’s Rankings
The driving mechanic behind Rank Builder is something known as content syndication. More specifically, it involves article spinning, which is an advanced form of article marketing. We’ll describe article marketing and article spinning below:
Article marketing, which involves writing articles (content) with links to your site, and submitting (or syndicating) those articles to various sites, is a proven way to get traffic and build links to your site.
(Now, if you’re concerned about having to write lots and lots of articles, don’t worry: article spinning can save you from having to do this.)
One believed limitation of article marketing is that if you just write one article and submit that same article to different sites (usually article directories), the links you get from that article aren’t–qualitatively speaking–as strong as the ones you’d get by submitting different articles to different article directories.
So, instead of having one article and submitting it to 5 article directories, it’s better to have 5 unique articles, and submit one of those unique articles to one of the 5 article directories.
Of course, writing articles can be very time-consuming, even for a writer like me. Outsourcing article creation can also be costly, especially if you want a really good writer who has a good command of English (or whichever language you want your article written in).
So, imagine having to write 5, 10, or 20 articles to get the maximum linking benefit that you need. It’s just not feesible for some people.
That’s where article spinning comes in.
Article spinning, when done well, is a proven methodology for taking one article, and “spinning” it into several unique articles that read well. (The original article is called the seed article, and the resulting articles are the spun articles.)
This is great, because from one seed article and proper spinning, you can get dozens and dozens of unique articles that read well and give you maximum link benefit.
(The instructions that come with Rank Builder will tell you how to create spinnable articles).
Anyway, Rank Builder works to take one spinnable article, spin it into different unique articles, and syndicate it to dozens of Web 2.0 sites. Because your spinnable article had links to your site, these Web 2.0 sites (which publish your article), will be linking to your site.
Just to give you a glimpse of how much time this alone will save you, there are about 35 Web 2.0 sites that Rank Builder can submit your article to. If your article had 2 links to your site, that would be 70 links your site would get! If your article had 3 links, that would be about 105 links to your site!
If you tried to do that manually, you’d find that it would take you a very, very long time. (Heck, it takes an hour just to write one article with 2 links and submit it to an article directory.) Once you’ve set things up, Rank Builder can do this in minutes!
And, as great as the time-savings are, it doesn’t stop there…
Links To Your Links: A Key Example of How Rank Builder Goes One Step Further Than Most of Your Competitors
Remember that, earlier on in this review, we said that the idea that your site needs links isn’t new? Everyone who’s serious about free search engine traffic knows this.
And, as with anything competitive, once a certain methodology is known by everyone, things are usually taken to the next level.
What do I mean by “taking things to the next level”?
Well, in today’s ultra-competitive search engine landscape, where your site has to get links to rank well, it’s not enough for your site to just get links. That’s what everyone knows, and the serious are doing that. Rank Builder goes one step beyond where everyone else stops: it works to get links to your links.
I know what you’re wondering: “Links to your links” just means that the pages that link to your site, should also have links pointing to them.
For example, if a page on site A links to your site, that’s good, but that’s what everyone else is doing. If Site B links to the page on Site A that links to your site, that’s great, because that’s going beyond where most of your competitors link-building efforts stop. This is what Rank Builder does for you.
You can think of it as two-tier link-building: the first tier are the sites that link directly to your site. The second tier are the sites that link to those sites (which, in turn, link to you). So, looking at the paragraph above, Site B would be a second-tier site, because it links to a site that links to your site.
Here’s a specific description of how Rank Builder re-enforces the links coming to your site by getting links to your links:
- Before your article is being submitted to the various Web 2.0 sites, you have the option of telling Rank Builder to build a linkwheel for you. So, not only can each Web 2.0 site link to your site, they can also be linked up in a circular, chain-like fashion (a linkwheel). That way, you’re not only getting the benefit of direct links from these Web 2.0 sites, but you get the enhanced benefit from the fact that these Web 2.0 sites are interlinked (links to your links).
- After your article has been submitted to the various Web 2.0 sites, you also have the option of telling Rank Builder to take the urls of the Web 2.0 pages that have links to you site, and turning those Web 2.0 pages into an RSS feed. (If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, don’t worry: you don’t really need to know what it is to get the rank-building benefit of Rank Builder.)
- Then, each of those those RSS feeds (about 35, which all link back to the various Web 2.0 sites) are submitted to the top 10 RSS directories. That’s about 350 links (from the RSS directories), to the Web 2.0 pages (which link to your site). Directories link to the Web 2.0 sites that all link to your site—a prime example of two-tier link-building. That’s another example of “links to your links.”
This is seen as highly favorable in Google, because Google knows that many people stop at one-tier link-building, so it’s very likely that when Google sees that the links to your site are re-enforced with deeper links, it really goes to show that your site is worthy, and you’re rewarded accordingly.
Another Feature Worth Mentioning: Rank Builder’s Profile Link-Building
Another feature worth mentioning is the forum profile link-building aspect of Rank Builder. This feature is based on the idea that forum profile links are a great, easy-to-get source of links coming into your site. A forum profile is just an individual member’s info page on a discussion forum. (It’s like the equivalent of a personal Facebook page.) Rank Builder works to automatically create a membership (and profile) for you on hundreds of forums. And each profile page can have a link to your site.
Rank Builder Scam?
Let’s be straight here: Just because you get a lot of free traffic from using Rank Builder doesn’t necessarily mean that your site will be successful. As great as Rank Builder is, you still need to have a good, legitimate business model to convert all the traffic that Rank Builder will give you into sales. You need a sales funnel.
Unlike most scams that promise you the moon, Rank Builder is not, by itself, a money-making opportunity or a business model. It’s a nearly fully-automated desktop software that works to provide a huge ingredient you need for you to succeed: free, targeted traffic. Once Rank Builder has done that part, it’s up to your conversion and sales process to convert that traffic into money.
In light of that, I think it’s easy to see how Rank Builder is not a scheme. And also, it doesn’t rely on forbidden, “black hat” linking tactics. It’s a clean link-building solution.
The other thing to consider is that Rank Builder is offered by Alex Goad, who is a successful Montreal-based Internet marketer, who attributes a lot of his success to his knowledge of link-building and search engine optimization. He has a good reputation and a following of customers who have learned a lot from him in the past.
Verdict: Not a scam.
Rank Builder is based on solid link-building methodologies that are timely, time-tested, and time-saving. If you have websites that you want to get a lot of free traffic to, and earn money from, I hope this review has shown you that Rank Builder is an investment to consider.
